One of a kind — the only available piece
By Joseph Le Bon · 1980s · c. 1984–1989. Hallmark design signatures of the late 1980s disco-to-power-dressing transition: bold abstract geometric color-blocking, iridescent oversized sequins layered over a beaded bugle border, and a relaxed drop-shoulder silhouette. · Sequins · Beads · Fabric · Hand Strung · Measurements (laid flat): Armpit to Armpit: 19" (approx. 38" bust) Waist: 19" (approx. 38" waist) Length: 28"
"This 1980s Joseph Le Bon evening jacket features a bold abstract geometric composition with vibrant color blocks of cobalt, violet, hot pink, and golden yellow. The garment is crafted from dense, hand-sewn iridescent flat sequins on a silk-backed ground, finished with black bugle bead trim along the neckline and front opening. Measurements laid flat: armpit to armpit 19 inches, waist 19 inches, length 28 inches. The jacket is in very good vintage condition; sequin coverage is dense and intact. As expected with beaded garments of this era, there is minor evidence of loose sequins and light thread exposure in isolated areas consistent with age and wear. Please review all photos and measurements carefully before purchase. All sales are final; no returns or exchanges."

Condition
Appears in very good to excellent vintage condition from photos. Sequin coverage is dense and intact across both front and back panels. Close-up detail shots reveal minor loose sequins and light thread exposure in isolated areas consistent with age and wear — not unusual for a heavily beaded garment of this era.
